As far back as 1985, where vehicles had been disposed of, or were obtained through fraud or deception, KIS were involved in the preparation of files for police complaints. |
The process involves the initial investigations, and liaison with divisional detectives, thus ensuring those offenders concerned are arrested and subsequently prosecuted
Our staff members are actively involved with various police forces, the details and extent to which most finance houses are no doubt aware of. In particular, this coalition between our staff and UK Police has proved tremendously successful, with the recovery of a large number of vehicles nationwide & the subsequent prosecution of the offenders.
When instructed by a client in respect of a fraudulent account (or suspected fraudulent account), we make the necessary background inquiries and obtain witness statements for prosecution purposes. We also attend at dealerships, obtaining further evidence, which results in a comprehensive file, ultimately being handed over to the Police.
At a later stage when the case is accepted by the Crown Prosecution Service and a court date is fixed, our expert witnesses attend court and give evidence on behalf of the aggrieved, thus allowing your staff to continue with their everyday duties
